The Petition

Dear World Leaders,

As many of you know, there has been an unlawful siege and genocide being carried out in Gaza for several years now, as determined by several accredited and respected international organizations. The people there have suffered through unimaginable pain, suffering, and loss that continues to this day and threatens to escalate more so at any time. For some however, it looks as though there may be some hope, but not without your help. An estimated 2000 plus students have been offered scholarships in your countries, with student residency visas included, and while some have been lucky enough to have been evacuated to their new place of study, the majority are still living through the harsh conditions of an ongoing war that is not their fault. Many are living in tents, struggling to afford food and healthcare, and live with the backdrop of constant bombing, shelling, and gunfire (yes, even amidst ceasefire).

You have the power to change their lives.

What we are demanding:

  1. That World Leaders protect these new residents as they would their own and arrange immediate and safe evacuation and transport to the country of residency to continue their studies

  2. The Egyptian Government opens up an escorted evacuation-only corridor from Rafah Crossing to The Cairo International Airport for transport to their destined country

  3. The Red Cross facilitates evacuation procedures in coordination with the Israeli Occupation, Egyptian Government and the government of the destined country

  4. A coordinated Fund is created to cover the costs of this project

As humanity, we are in times that will define not only who we are, but who we will become, and the measure of our collective and individual character weighs in the balance. We ask you to consider what you would ask of the world if your people were suffering this way. The people of Gaza are kind, innovative, intelligent, and creative, with so much to offer. They just need you to facilitate the chance you have already offered to them.

Let us work together to leave this world better than we found it.
